I’M NEW TO HAVING MY MAKEUP DONE. HOW DOES THIS WORK?

No problem! Go ahead and send us a message via our Contact form. You’ll be prompted to fill out your contact information so we can get back to you. do i have to do a hair/makeup trial?

No, but we highly recommend it! The hours leading up to weddings are often limited and hectic, and having a trial prior ensures that your preferences will be met in a timely manner. It can also be beneficial to see how your hair and makeup wear throughout the day.

How far in advance of my wedding date should i book hair and makeup?

Typically hair and makeup are booked 6-10 months in advance of the wedding date, up to one week after the trial.

what is airbrush makeup and do i need it?

Airbrush makeup creates a flawless, lightweight finish on the skin that lasts all day. It is applied without the use of brushes, making it perfect for very sensitive skin. Airbrush makeup is recommended for weddings and any occasion in which you will be heavily photographed!

what is reiki?

Reiki is a hollistic method of channeling energy into the body to open up the chakras and clear negative energy blocks. Reiki activates your body’s natural healing processes to promote physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Anyone who deals with stress (i.e. everyone!) is a candidate for Reiki.

do you have makeup for every skin tone?

Yes, all of our makeup artists come prepared and are trained in matching foundation to a range of skin tones.

how do i prep for my makeup trial? do i need to bring anything?

how should i prepare my skin for my wedding day?

If you’re concerned about the health of your skin leading up to your wedding day, we are happy to advise you on how to take care of it and which treatments are best for you. Typically we would recommend that any facials with extractions be done 3 weeks in advance of your wedding day. It’s best to have a microdermabrasion no more than a week prior, to ensure the best makeup application possible. Please consult with Sophie or your esthetician as to whether you’re a candidate for microdermabrasion.

do you do non-bridal on site makeup?

Yes, we are currently accepting requests to perform on-site services for non-bridal events and photoshoots.
